Welcome to CicloCuba! Before booking your bicycle tour in Havana, please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully. By making a reservation, you agree to comply with these conditions.
1. Booking and Payment
- Reservations can be made online through our official website www.ciclocuba.com or through authorized partners.
- Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
- We accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation by the Participant:
- More than 72 hours before the tour: Full refund or option to reschedule.
- Less than 72 hours before the tour: No refund, but rescheduling is possible (subject to availability).
- No-show: No refund or rescheduling.
Cancellation by CicloCuba:
- In exceptional cases (e.g., extreme weather, safety concerns), we may cancel the tour. A full refund or an alternative date will be offered.
3. Participant Requirements
Age and Physical Condition:
- Minimum age for standard tours: 12 years (minors must be accompanied by an adult).
- Participants must be in good physical condition to cycle for the duration of the tour (typically 3–6 hours).
Safety Equipment:
- Helmets are mandatory and will be provided.
Medical Conditions:
- Please inform us of any health issues that may affect your ability to cycle, as well as any food-related concerns.
4. Safety and Responsibility
Assumption of Risk:
- Cycling involves inherent risks. Participants acknowledge these risks and take part at their own responsibility.
Traffic and Road Conditions:
- Havana streets may have uneven surfaces, traffic, and pedestrians. Ride carefully and follow your guide’s instructions.
Insurance:
- CicloCuba is not responsible for personal injuries, lost items, or property damage. We recommend travel insurance that covers adventure activities.
5. Use of Bicycle and Damages
- Bicycles must be used with care.
- Participants are responsible for any damage caused by negligence or misuse (repair/replacement charges may apply).
- Report any mechanical issues immediately to the guide.
6. Conduct and Responsibility
- Follow the guide’s instructions at all times.
- Alcohol or drug use is strictly prohibited before or during the tour.
- CicloCuba reserves the right to exclude any participant for unsafe or disruptive behavior without refund.
7. Weather and Tour Modifications
- Tours run rain or shine, unless conditions are deemed unsafe.
- Routes may be adjusted for safety or logistical reasons.
8. Privacy Policy
- Personal data collected during the booking process will be used solely for tour operations and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
9. Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of Cuba. Any disputes will be settled in the courts of Havana.
